About	1988 ~ 2017 Family was paramount in the life of Eliza Marie Clawson Olson, 29, who made the ultimate sacrifice in bringing her son Isaac into the world. She passed away on August 17, 2017, at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Eliza grew up in Salt Lake City, UT, graduated from Skyline HS, and studied Human Development at the U of U and Family Life Studies at USU. She met her future husband, Michael Enoch Olson, in orchestra at the U and fell in love with him as they sang together in the SL Institute Concert Choir. They were married and sealed together for time and eternity in the Manti, Utah LDS Temple on May 6, 2008. Shortly after, they moved to Logan and completed degrees at USU. Eliza always had a way with children; she and Michael opened their hearts and home to two foster children. They welcomed a daughter, Lucy, shortly before Michael's employment took them to Florida. Eliza bravely left family and familiarity behind and journeyed with her sweetheart on a new adventure. A daughter, Emily, joined their family shortly thereafter. Eliza was a devoted wife and mother. She had a happy disposition and positive outlook, an infectious giggle and an unwavering sense of what is important in life. She stayed close to all her family, despite physical distance. She loved working with children and teenagers in both her church service and employment. Her final months were spent as a hen on a nest, diligently and optimistically enduring a lengthy bed rest to bring Isaac into their family. The family is grateful for the support of friends and family throughout this difficult time and for the dedicated and loving care from the doctors and staff at Halifax. Eliza will be missed by her eternal sweetheart, Michael Olson; beloved children Lucy, Emily, and Isaac; parents Teresa and Coy Clawson; siblings Camille (Brent) Petersen, Laverna (Dan) Horne, Sarah, Leslie, and Emma; parents-in-law Patricia and Keith Olson; siblings-in-law Kiersten, Lars (Sarah), Rebecca (Timothy) Knell, David, Joseph (Lacey), and Samuel (Lizzy); seventeen nieces & nephews; Grandma Gloria Halliday; and many extended family members. She is welcomed with open arms by grandparents Ernest & Laverna Clawson and Herb Halliday, as well as others of her family who passed on before. Although Eliza has been taken home to the eternal realm, we are confident she will be close by, ever watching over her beloved family.
