About	Donald B. Buschbascher January 26, 2025 Donald B. Buschbascher (aka Jr.), 69, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was a loving husband to his wife, Doris, during their 29 years of marriage. Born in Syracuse, NY, he was the first child of Don and Hazel Buschbascher and graduated from Skaneateles High School. Don was a self-taught tradesman; largely self-employed as a well known welder/fabricator. He loved racing as a young man and became an avid outdoorsman who cherished his quiet time in his tree stand waiting for the elusive buck. Don was a long time member of the CNY Archery League where 3D archery truly became his passion. He is survived by his wife, Doris, sons and daughters Brett (Laura), Tiffany (Chris), Jesse, Emily (Sadie), and his father, Don. Also, by his siblings Frank (Annie), Eddie (Sue), Faith, and Trina, grandchildren Greyson, Emerson, and Kennedy, along with several nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his mother, Hazel Buschbascher, and best fur friend, Nutmeg. Calling hours will be Friday, January 31st, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Plis Funeral Home - 33 North St., Marcellus, NY, with services immediately following.
