John Frederick Tucker, 93, went to be with the Lord and his wife, Beverley, on November 1st, 2024.
He was a lifelong resident of Skaneateles, graduating from Skaneateles High School in 1949. John was a dairy and crop farmer and was farming into his late 80’s. He was a member of the Skaneateles United Methodist Church, where he was very active until his later years. For many years John was head trustee, head of Ushers and a Communion Steward.
John is predeceased by his wife, Beverley, 2 sisters, and one brother.
He is survived by his children: Mark (Elaine) Tucker, Kirk Tucker, Diane (Dick) McDermott, Terri (Daniel) Leubner, Brenda (Tony) Shea, Penny Tucker, April (Gary La Point) Tucker, Daniel (Jennifer) Tucker, sister-in-law Mary Tucker. 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Skaneateles United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 28th at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Skaneateles United Methodist Church, Matthew House, or SAVES ambulance.
