Julie M.S. Capsello
October 11, 2024
Julie M.S. Capsello, age 69, of Fayetteville, New York passed away peacefully on October 11th, 2024, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She grew up in Skaneateles, New York and was a 1973 graduate of Skaneateles High School.
Jules is predeceased by her father, James M. Frake Jr., mother, E. Diane Stott and stepfather, Joseph Neil Stott. Jules is survived by her daughters, Dani (Brett) Hoekstra and Nikki (Chad) LaChance; her son, AJ (Sheri) Capsello; five grandchildren, Blake, Mackenzie, Hailey, Caden and Lucas; and her ex-husband, Vince Capsello. She is also survived by her stepmother, Beverly Frake; brother, James M. Frake; and stepsiblings, Thomas (Chris) Butler, Cindy Kocik (Dan) Roberts and Brian Kocik.
She loved her family more than anything in this world and enjoyed cooking for them and sewing, coming up with unique creations in both hobbies. Jules went out of her way, even during illness, to support and attend events for her kids and grandkids. There wasn't anything in life she was prouder of than her family. She worked in her passion, retail fashion, for years at Lord & Taylor and later Macy's. She found purpose in making people look and feel fabulous, and she was tremendous at it.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 21st from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at FARONE & SON, Inc. Funeral Home, 4899 W. Taft Road, Liverpool. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd at 11 a.m. at Dewitt Community Church, 3600 Erie Blvd E., Syracuse.
