Norma Miller Edwards, 79 , of Skaneateles, died Sunday, January 20, 2008. A life resident of Skaneateles, she taught school in the Gilboa School System and retired from Skaneateles Central School in 1998. She was a graduate of SkaneatelesHigh School and SUNY Albany, was a lover of history, collector of antiques and was an authority on antique buttons. She also was a member of the Skaneateles Historical Society and the David Harum Button Club. Surviving are her son, H. William Edwards; grandchildren, Meghan Miller of Rushville, Patience Edwards of Syracuse, Aoiffe Rodriguez of San Diego, CA, Katie Meaker of Skaneateles Falls and Liam Edwards of Skaneateles; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Edwards Jr. in 2005 and a daughter, Donna Leigh. Calling hours will be Friday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with services at 1 p.m. at the Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, 49 Jordan St., Skaneateles. Burial in Lake View Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society.
