About	William R. Bass, 83, life time resident of Skaneateles, passed away at home on January 7th. William served in the US Army from October 21, 1953 to October 20, 1955. William work for over 40 years as a lineman with Niagara Mohawk in Syracuse, NY. He was an active member of the St. Mary’s of The Lake Church, Skaneateles, the Skaneateles Falls American Legion Post 317, was avid reader and taking trips to Saratoga in the summer months, where he loved the outdoors. Also a big part of William’s life was spending time with his family. William is predeceased by his parents Stanley and Mary, his twins, a sister Bonnie Littlefeid and a brother Michael. He is survived by his loving wife Mary of 30 years, his children Mary Lynn (Jerry) Oleksa, William Michael, Suzie Gleason (Mike), Timmy and his step children Scott (Juanita) Willis and Brian (Rhonda) Willis. Brother’s Peter Kortright and Mark (Nancy) Kortright. Sisters Mary (Dick) Keough, Kathleen (William) Johnson and Pat Eisenberg. 14 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be a Catholic Mass on Tuesday January 12th at 10am at St. Mary’s of The Lake Church, Skaneateles. Contributions can be made to St. Mary’s of The Lake Church, Skaneateles.
