About	Bob served 6 years in the US Navy after high school, first as a Field Medic with the US Marines in the Pacific islands of WWII for 3 yrs, followed by 3 yrs on different ships in the Atlantic & Meditteranean. After his service with the Navy, Bob had a long and successful career with the US Forest Service, before retiring in 1984. He was 94 at his passing.
