About Yvette Theresa (Brassard) Fair Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Yvette Theresa Marie Thelma Fair (Brassard) on April 11, 2022 at Dauphin Regional Hospital-Dauphin, MB at the age of 67 years.
Yvette was born on December 9th, 1954 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Kenneth Brassard and Theresa Brassard (Rieu). Yvette was the eldest of five children. Her siblings are Yvonne, Paulette, Annette, and Kenneth Jr the 2nd.
Yvette was not able to obtain her grade 12 as she was pulled out of school to help the family. As time went she had children of her own, children from a couple previous relationships. It wasn’t till she met her husband that she truly felt the love she deserved.
Ted and Yvette met in 1980 in Winnipeg. That is when their life’s journey began together. Eventually their journey took them west to Alberta in 1988. They had set out to live in Calgary for many years.
On April 3rd, 1993 Yvette married the man of her dreams, Theadore (Ted) Fair in Calgary, Alberta. It wasn’t till 2009 that they had come back to Manitoba. They moved to Dauphin to be close to their family.
Over the years she worked service jobs such as cashier, waitress, and her last place of work was Safeway, where she had worked as cashier but when she was able moved into the cut food dept which she enjoyed. She has always been a warm welcoming person for those she worked with and the customers.
In life she was also known to be a heart felt giving person but she also was known to have a fuse just as short as she was. It was up to you to know where you stood. Luckily, for most, they were on that loving side, and we the family, are sure you all love and miss her as we do.
Yvette is survived by her husband Ted Fair; her children, Antoinette Bayduza (Shaun) of Dauphin, MB, Anthony Morrisette of Winnipeg, MB, and Kenneth Jr the 3rd Morrissette, out east; her grandchildren, Bowdy and Ryver, Mike, Donovan, Anthony Jr, Mercury, Max, and Jack, Cierra, Mike, Emily-Rose, and Alexandrea; her siblings Yvonne, and Kenneth Jr the 2nd Brassard.
Yvette is pre-deceased by her parents Kenneth Brassard and Theresa Brassard (Rieu); her sisters’ Paulette and Annette.
