About	PAT LEE MCMILLIN (nee BURNS) 1957 - 2016 Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Pat passed away in her sleep at the St. Boniface Hospital on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at the age of 59 years. Pat is survived by her sister Shelly (Dave), sister-in-law Jan, nieces Shannon and Courtney, former spouse George, sister-in-law Karen, and nephews Michael, Jeff and David. She was predeceased by her parents John and Bernice, and brothers Ron and John. She was born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan and later the family moved to Winnipeg. In Pat's younger years, she taught Sunday school and in her later years, she excelled in school and playing the flute and piccolo. At a very young age, Pat began babysitting, working at the Concert Hall, Chapman Pharmacy and M.T.S. for 35 years. Pat loved baking, cooking, music, flowers, gardening, dancing, dining out, the wine festival, Dine-about-Winnipeg, family gatherings, extensive traveling to Hawaii, Europe, Puerto Vallarta, the U.S. and Canada. Pat also enjoyed the Christmas Party Ladies, the Norwood Legion crowd and friends, the Jets coming back, and her cats Sasha and Simba (Snickers and Scooter). A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave. (across from Brookside Cemetery).
