About	Deborah Helen Partridge (nee Andrusyshyn) - This is Debbie Andrew�s obituary her last name was actually Andrusyshyn but her parents shortened it to make it easier for Debbie. Deborah passed away peacefully on October 27th in Toronto, Ontario, following heart surgery. Deb was born on March 21, 1957 in Winnipeg, MB to Rose and Adolf Andrusyshyn. Deb will forever be lovingly remembered by her best friend, the love of her life and partner of 28 years, Ivan Olson, her mother, Rose, Ivan's daughter, Tylor, grandson Cash, sisters-in-law Carol (Dave) Guilford, Lorraine (Larry) Gamble and Rosemary Klassen, her brother-in-law David (Kellianne) Olson and their families, and, of course, her little furry baby, Teika. Deb was predeceased by her father, Adolf, brother-in-law Emil Olson and niece Cynthia Mayo. Deb grew up and attended school in Winnipeg, Manitoba and went on to work as a receptionist and secretary in Winnipeg, and in 1989 followed her love, Ivan, to Kenora, where she continued working until health problems forced her to give it up and stay at home. Deb's kidneys failed her, and finally, after eighteen years of dialysing 3 times a week, she received a kidney transplant in April of 2015. This gave Deb some freedom that she had not had for years, and she was able to enjoy some well-deserved road trips without having to rush home to dialyse. While Deb had many health issues that kept her from enjoying things others take for granted, she never complained about it and always pushed herself to live life to the fullest and enjoy life to the best of her ability. She loved to be in the kitchen cooking or baking some new recipe she saw on TV. The girls in the dialysis unit and her friends and relatives were often recipients of her delectable treats. Deb's solace was at their home on the Winnipeg River. Many, many happy times were had and shared with friends and family, and you'd best book far in advance if you wanted to come and stay with them in the summer. Ivan would like to thank all those who touched their lives over the last twenty-eight years, their family and friends who have been there for them through both the good times and the not so good times, the numerous doctors and nurses in Kenora, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay and Toronto who helped to give her some quality of life and especially the nursing staff at the LOWDH dialysis unit, who became family to her. A celebration of Deb's life and a chance to share stories will be held on Saturday, November 19th at Pellatt United Fire Hall on Highway 641 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests making a donation to the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation dialysis unit, 21 Sylvan Street W, Kenora ON, P9N 3W7.
