MICHAEL B. BILUK
November 25, 1926 -
March 13, 2023
Peacefully, with his wife by his side, Michael passed away at home, on March 13, at the age of 96 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Eleanor, of 48 years.
Michael was born in the Zelena District. He attended Normal School in Winnipeg and completed his education at the University of Winnipeg receiving his Bachelor of Arts Diploma. He taught Junior High students, Mathematics and Language Arts. He accompanied his students on many field trips. He retired in 1980.
Michael was very knowledgeable and interesting to speak to on any subject; one had to know him to enjoy his sense of humour. They travelled extensively, eventually vacationing in Palm Springs, CA.
Michael was predeceased by his parents, John and Effie Biluk, his brother Bill and sister Stella; in-laws, Harv and Mary Johnston. He is survived by his sister Mary, and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and per Michael's request, no service will be held.
Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Vanjaarsveldt and staff.
