About	OREST YAKIMISCHAK On Sunday, December 7, 2008, Orest passed away at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 80 years. Orest will be lovingly remembered by his wife Adele of 34 years of marriage; daughter, Dorothy (Dennis) Fletcher; son David (Joan) Yakimischak; grandson Charles; sister-in-law Lyna; nephew Greg; special Aunt Olga Petrowski and special cousin Kathy Urban. He was predeceased by his father Dmitri; mother Anna and brother Paul. Starting his career as an auto mechanic, Orest had his own service station. Later on he taught auto mechanics in School Division #1. For the past 30 years he loved his volunteer work with wheelchair bowling. He was a proud member of the Blue Bomber Alumni. Orest was president of the Manitoba Glass Works Historic site in Beausejour, Manitoba. He was an honorary life member of the Pine Ridge Golf Club. Orest's Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 12 at 3:00 p.m. in the Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Drive with Rev. Dr. Sharon Wilson presider. Our family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Concordia Hospital as well as Rev. Dr. Sharon Wilson for her care.
