About	ARTHUR LAWRENCE RUPPEL Arthur Lawrence Ruppel died suddenly January 12, 2000 in Jacksonville, Florida. Born July 27,1942 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, he was the son of Arthur E. Ruppel (deceased) and Anne Schulteiss Ruppel. Art was a graduate of Sisler High School. He resided in Waverly, Iowa with his family for 23 years where he attended Wartburg College. Art was the Activities Director and Cottage Supervisor at Bremwood Childrens Home for 11 years. He was Executive Director of the Foundation at Hawkeye Institute of Technology, Waterloo, Iowa from 1976 - 1987. Art became the Executive Director of the Foundation at Florida Community College of Jacksonville in 1987 until present. He is survived by his wife Donna, daughters Tracey Dawn Ruppel of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Darcy Anne Pauken of Pasadena, California, son-in-law Michael Pauken, grandchildren Frances Elaine and Victor James Pauken, mother Anne Schulteiss Ruppel of Winnipeg, Manitoba, sister Carol Anne Snarr of Topeka, Kansas and brother Timothy William Ruppel of Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was a Board Member of Junior Achievement, member of Guardian Ad Litum, and member of Council for Resource Development. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Art L. Ruppel Courage Scholarship, care of FCCJ Foundation, 501 West State Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202 A Memorial Service was held at the Nathan H.
