About	OREST LARRY PODWORNY February 20, 1940 - January 3, 2000 It is with much regret that we announce the sudden passing of our dear brother and uncle Orest. Orest was born on February 20, 1940. He received his education at Poplarfield Collegiate and later at Sisler High. He was employed with the CPR and later joined his father and brother at farming. In the past two years Orest and Paul retired from farming and until his demise, Orest did what he enjoyed the most in life "entertaining" people by playing the best ethnic type of music on his saxophone. Orest was a kind and generous soul. Unfortunately at times he had a difficult time expressing his feelings and frustrations that he encountered in life. When he did try to express his feelings they were not always in the appropriate manner. For this we have to forgive him. He will be especially missed by his brother Paul whom he farmed for almost 25 years and played music. Prayers will be on Thursday, January 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with funeral services on Friday, January 7 at 1:00 p.m. in Poplarfield Community Centre. His pallbearers will be his nephews, Kevin Kopys, Phillip Podworny, brother-in-law Gord Leduchowski, his friends, Gerry Krawchuk, Ken Lindstrum, Lawrence Husiak, Doug Mymryk, Bill Ostap and Steve Mik. Orest was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Pauline Pododworny; sister Iris; brother-in-law Eddie; nephew Rodney and niece Melanie; grandparents, numerous aunts and uncles.
