About	GEORGE DANIEL BARTON On November 2, 2024, George "Spuddy" Barton passed away at age 75. He is survived by his wife Eleanor of 54 years, his daughters, Joanne and Wendy, grandchildren, Vanessa and Peter, as well as sisters, Debbie, Linda and Judy. He will be missed by several nieces and nephews, many friends and colleagues and his special fur baby Chi Chi. George was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and Daniel, as well as his brothers, Gary, Gordon, Raymond and sister Nadine. George was born October 14, 1949, and grew up in Winnipeg. He attended Sisler High School and spent most of his life working in electronics repair. Prior to retirement in 2018 he worked as a power engineer and security at Magellan. At George's request, no funeral service will be held. A private interment will be at a later date.
