About	Unfortunately Wednesday January 24th, 2024 my Mom passed away peacefully at Grace Hospital. I feel so lucky to have been able to be by her side, holding her hand and giving her strength while keeping her feeling safe while she passed. My Mom was a ball of energy and she had a wild sarcastic side. All the way to the end she was joking, laughing and poking fun. At one point when they couldn't find her vein on Wednesday (common with how small she was) she jokingly said they might need more training and we all laughed. I know my Mom would like to thank everyone that reached out, visited and thought of her over the last few years. She would want everyone to think back to some good memories of/with her and listen to some Janis Joplin. Kaitlin and I were really able to really connect with my Mom over the last 3-4 years. I am so grateful we could. We are going to miss my Mom so much. No more 100 phone call days BUT I'm going to miss them too. She absolutely loved her animals and especially her dogs. Hopefully wherever she is, she can reconnect with them somehow! This picture was taken a few days before my Mom passed when Kaitlin Twomey took her to get her hair done. She looks beautiful. In lieu of flowers or donations my Mom would prefer you make and spend some time with the ones you care about and love. Share a good story or picture in the comments below ??
