About	BRIAN GREGORY ZAJAC Suddenly on Friday, September 15, 2000, Brian Zajac passed away at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 50 years. Brian was born in Winnipeg on December 3, 1949. He grew up in the North End and moved to North Kildonan where he spent his married life. On September 10 of this year he celebrated his 23rd wedding anniversary with his lifelong partner and love of his life, Michelle. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Michelle; children, Kyle, Keri and Derek; brothers, Tom (Trish) and Wayne (Debbie) numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He will also be missed by his extended family, Denise (Denis), Corrine (Ron), Brad (Laurette), Darryll (Cheryl) and special friends, Steve and Arlene Klowak. He was predeceased by his parents Gregory and Stella. Brian was a dedicated husband and father who enjoyed many weekends camping with his family and friends. "Lilac" will not be the same without him. Brian encouraged his children to be involved in sports. He was always there at the rink, soccer field and baseball diamond cheering them on and offering advice. Brian willingly gave his time as coach/assistant coach for each of his children. He also supported Gateway Community Club as a ringette convenor and baseball equipment manager. Brian liked nothing better than watching his children and others enjoy sports. In accordance with Brians wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Inurnment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Brians memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3B 2H8.
