About | SCOTT ARCHIBALD MCDONALD November 16, 1972 - May 12, 2024 It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Scott on May 12, 2024. Scott was born and raised in Winnipeg’s North End and attended Shaughnessy Park and Sisler High School eventually becoming a professional semi-truck driver. He lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, such as walking his golden retriever dogs at Little Mountain Park, watching a Jets or Blue Bomber game, doing crossword puzzles, reading music autobiographies, watching true crime stories, travelling to different countries, and spending time with family and friends. Scott loved music and was a proud member of the KISS army where he would read, watch, listen, and collect anything they made. He was a rare combination of someone who had a love for life and a firm understanding of what was truly important. He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, son, brother, and uncle. Scott is predeceased by his parents, Edna and Archie, and his brother, Larry. He will be greatly missed by his spouse, Jade and their two fur babies, Zeppelin and Kashmira, his siblings, Gerry (Lisa), Lori, Ray (Trinity), Stephen (Tracey), Kim (Lorne), Kevin (Sunny), Cindy, his in-laws, Gary and Susan, and his many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. We hope to see all the friends and family who can attend to help us remember and celebrate Scott as the good man he lived his life as. Scotty, I wish to thank you for giving me 24 years of happiness and for your unwavering companionship and love, I will miss you every day until I see you again walking at the park in the sky with all our goldens together. Love you forever and always, Jade. As published in Winnipeg Free Press on May 23, 2024. |
