About	LINDA HENDERSON (WEREMIUK) 1949 - 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Linda. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Vera Weremiuk. She is survived by her sister Lorraine (Steve) Kraichy, brother Larry (Diana) Weremiuk and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Linda leaves behind her son Walter (Kellie) and grandson Roman. Linda was born April 5, 1949, at St. Boniface Hospital, a proud life long North ender she went to William White, Lord Nelson and Sisler schools. Linda worked for the city for over 23 years until her retirement. She was involved in many community organizations like Folklorama, The Federation of Russian Canadians, and The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Winnipeg. She had passion for Latin music and travelling to Cuba, where she had many friends. She was a proud mother to Walter and grandmother to Roman with whom she had a very special bond. A service will be held at The First Unitarian Church of Winnipeg, 603 Wellington Crescent, on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, UNICEF or a charity of your choice.
