About	BARBARA MARGARET COOKE (nee IRWIN) December 3, 1941 - April 5, 2014 After a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis and cancer, it is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our precious wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Riverview Health Centre. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Allan, of 53 years, two daughters Lorraine and Leanne (Lawrence), granddaughters Raya (Justin) and Shaylyn (Joel), great-granddaughter Blakely, and many close family members and friends. Barb was predeceased by her parents Slim and Muriel Irwin, her brother Bill Irwin, and her infant daughter Nicole. Barb had a great gift for the outdoors, she loved her gardens and crafting was her specialty. Her greatest passion was her family, spending quality time with the ones she loved dearly. In accordance to Barb's wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral service will not be held. A private family interment will take place at a later date at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Winnipeg, MB. Should friends so desire, donations can be made in her memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and all the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their kindness and compassion throughout this difficult time.
