About	RON KOHUT It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dad, Ron Kohut, peacefully at the Seven Oaks Hospital on July 5, 2006 at the age of 63. He is survived by his mother Betty Kohut and his sons, Darrin (Gerry), Darryl (Vangeeh) and his grandchildren, Andrea, Adrienne (Kevin), Alex, Jade and Camille. Ron was born July 21, 1942 in Winnipeg. He worked at a number of varying jobs and while following his father began a career with Canada Post. Starting as a mail services courier and during this time he became actively involved in the Letter Carrier's Union of Canada, holding the executive position of Branch Secretary Treasurer and President. He retired after 31 years of service with Canada Post as a letter carrier supervisor at Depot B. Ron was always appreciative of the many people he had the opportunity to associate with and maintained his greatest treasure were the friendships founded along the way. Prayers will be said on Sunday, July 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 10 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Chapel. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens Pallbearers will be Leonard Sholikowski, Gordon Wiebe, Tom Zarzycki, David Smook, Cory Sholikowski and Andrew Wiebe. Honorary pallbearer to be Ronnie Sholikowski Flowers are gratefully declined; donations may be made in Ron's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
