About	HERBERT MELVIN SPENCER It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Herbert Melvin Spencer on May 23, 2015 at Misericordia Health Centre at the age of seventy four years. He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters. Herbert leaves to mourn brothers and sisters and their families in the Caribbean, the USA and in Canada; also, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Herbert was a teacher with the Winnipeg School Division until his retirement in 2004. He had a passion for cricket and was a well-known cricket commentator on the radio in Antigua, WI, before migrating to Canada. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2J 4J4. A special thank you goes out to all the staff at Misericordia Health Centre and Heritage Lodge Care Home as well as to all caregivers. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his or her charity of choice.
