About JOHN DAVID WAYNE TRIETHART 1947 - 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved John on Friday, October 13 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 59 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents Phil and Lena Triethart, sister Diana Thomson and brother-in-law Harold Thomson. John will be forever missed by his brother Bob (Linda), nephew Bob (Danielle), nieces Cyndy (Carino) their daughter Hali, Sandi (Rick) children Ryan and Carly. He will be greatly missed by his very special longtime companion Miriam as well as his many friends. John worked for 41 years as a Bakery Manager for Canada Safeway. He was an avid golfer, playing in places such as Mexico, Spain, and the US. His other passions were boating, and collecting classic cars. He spent many vacations cruising in the Dutchess V; he could be seen cruising the countryside in his classic cars, especially his convertible. John will be remembered for his knowledge of music, old movies, and his very quick sense of humour. We wish to extend sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff of 7AW at the St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. A celebration of John's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday October 19, 2006 at Neil Bardal Inc, located at 984 Portage Avenue, entrance on Aubrey Street. John leaves in our memory many good times with family and friends. He will be sadly missed. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in John's name to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O.
