About	RICHARD M. SOBIE May 23, 1946 – December 29, 2021 Richard passed away at the age of 75 of cancer. Richard is survived by his loving wife Linda, son Paul (Brodie), sisters, Bernadine Brown, Jennifer Shymko and a brother, Jeffery. He was predeceased by his father Michael in 2001, mother Adeline in 2012 and sister Marilyn Robb in 1997. Richard loved the martial arts. His goal was to become a Black Belt, which he achieved. He loved to play the drums with his cousins, Stan, Julian and Greg. Biking and walking became a routine for him. In his career, he worked at different jobs, eventually working at Bristol Aerospace in the Heat Treating Department and was promoted to an Inspector where he remained until his retirement at 40 years of service in March 2007. "To grieve awhile for me, if grieve you must. Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It is only awhile that we must part, I won't be far away for life goes on, and so if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can't see me or touch me, I'll be near. And then when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say, "Welcome home"".
