The family moved to Winnipeg, and Cindy attended her Senior Schooling at Sisler High School and Tec Voc. After graduation she worked for Clover Crest Honey (Bee Maid Honey). She made many good friends at Bee Maid and Tim was always there to give her many laughs. Cindys family was first and foremost in her life. She met and married Milo, her champion, in 1969. Her two children, Sebastian and Natasha, were a great pride and joy to her. Moms hugs and gentle manner will be missed tremendously. Cindy loved to cook. You may not know what delicacy you were eating, but it was always terrific. Cindy loved to shop, whether it be on her lunch hour, or 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Family get togethers were always hectic, but much fun and laughs were always had. An avid Line Dancer, Cindy had all the steps. She enjoyed doing Paper Tole, her flower garden and reading. Going to the cabin at Victoria Beach every summer with sister, Debbie, her best friend, were times to sit, talk and talk, and have the odd rum. Cindy dedicated much of her time to her church St. Barnabas. She made many close friends there. She was an active participant in many church events. Her friend Lorin visited at her house to go over many of these events. A memorial service will be held in St. Barnabas Church, 730 McPhillips, on Friday, September 14 at 12:00 p.m., with Father Bob English and Father Arnold Johnson officiating. The family wishes to extend thanks to the doctors and nurses at St. Boniface Hospital and the CancerCare Clinic.
