About	JOHN WILBERT LOUGHEAD With great sadness we announce the passing of John on September 8, 2013, after having a stroke and later heart complications. John leaves behind his son Jason and daughter Christine, brothers Glenn and Gary, sister-in-law Rita (Lloyd), nieces and nephews Andrew and Maureen of Winnipeg, Kristopher, Corie and Gillian of Victoria, BC, and many beloved great-nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents, Lorene and Harry and his brother Lloyd, nephews Charlie, Bruce and Brian Loughead. John was a very loving father, brother and uncle who always put a smile on people's faces. He was always at the ready with a funny joke or quip and loved making people laugh. He loved the outdoors, photography, golfing and travelling. He was never anywhere without his bocce ball set ready for a game. He loved to spend time with his good friends at Patricia Beach. He was passionate about animals and he especially loved horses and dogs. John was a recognized volunteer blood donor for many years and he also volunteered for many other worthwhile causes. He loved helping people in any way he could. He spent many decades working at the Eaton's downtown store where he made many friends that he kept in touch with and valued very much. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of his life will be held Friday, September 20 at 1:30 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave (across from Brookside Cemetery). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 0K6 in his name.
