About	Change in Time and Place of Service JOHN STEPHEN WACHNIAN 1954 - 2007 It is with a broken heart that we announce the sudden passing of John, loving and devoted husband and father of Karen and Cielle. Also survived by his sister Lori, mother Toni, niece Jennifer, nephew Tyler, and many cousins, aunts and uncles. His father Steve, mother-in-law Ida, and cousin Cathy predeceased him. John worked as a computer analyst / designer for the City of Winnipeg for 30 years, the last project was six years with the Winnipeg Police. John took great pride in his work. The family appreciates the support from his co-workers over the past difficult days and have come to appreciate how much John was respected at work. John was a quiet and unassuming man who lived life, with intensity, to its absolute fullest and led others, especially his family, along his journey. He never let anything pass him by; he had a great sense of adventure. He travelled the world, loved nature and its beauty and shared this with others in his photographs. He loved the lake, swimming, downhill and cross-country skiing, camping, canoeing, boating, hiking, exploring, cooking, entertaining, board games, music, “planning” for others and “photography.” He had a great sense of humour, was known as the tickle monster, and would act as silly or as reserved as the moment called for. Each person he touched had a rich adventure or experience to relate. Most of all, he loved his family; his life was Karen and Cielle. They travelled through their life as a unit of three and have endless memories of their travels and their “cherished family times.” Thank you for teaching us to savour every moment and everything this world has to offer. Thank you for your love, devotion and all the memories we share. We will miss you so much. We love you. *Please note change in church and time. Celebration of John’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 13 at John Black Memorial Church, Henderson Highway and Roberta Aveune, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. E Gould officiating. Reception at Glen Eden.
