About	KENNETH HARVEY SKELLY Peacefully on March 31, 2009, with his wife and children by his side, Ken passed away at the age of 64, two weeks before his 65th birthday. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law John Patrician, his sister-in-law Lynne Skelly and his niece Diane Hosking. He will forever be remembered by his wife of 43 years, Joan, his daughter Karen (Chris) Harding, son Kevin (Jennifer) Skelly, grandchildren Kaylee and Kenzie Harding, Ty Kenneth and Nicole Skelly, sister-in-law Eva Patrician, sister-in-law Val (Don) Bowles, brother Lawrence Skelly and nieces and nephews Matthew (Sarah) and Emily Patrician, Michelle Bowles, Bob (Maire), Keenan Skelly, Harold and Dean Hosking and special friend Richard Achron. Ken worked for the City of Winnipeg, Transit Department as the Superintendent of Schedules retiring in 1996 after of 30 years of service. Ken and Joan moved out to their lake home on the Bird River and enjoyed ten years of puttering around their place, boating, snowmobiling and golfing in Pinawa. Ken and Joan took many winter trips to places in Mexico, Palm Springs and Florida before settling at the Pine to Palm Resort in Texas and enjoying several years there. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed more than words can express and will be in the thought of his family and friends forever. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2009 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint).
