About	ANISIA LUBA DMYTRYSHYN Beloved soulmate of Mykola Dmytryshyn, Anisia Luba Dmytryshyn surrendered into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on Monday, February 15, 2021. Her love and heart of gold were greater than the ocean and were too grand to remain here on earth, so Jesus guided her home to Heaven. Anisia was predeceased by her parents, Maria and Myron Kashynsky; her husband's parents, Anastasia and Ivan Dmytryshyn; her late sister-in-law Anne and Semko Kmet, their children, Ron (Sandra) Kmet, the late John Kmet, and Anne (Glenn) Rusnak; her brother-in-law Omelan (Melania) Dmytryshyn, their children, Bohdan (Natalka) Dmytryshyn and Myron (Diane) Dmytryshyn; her sister-in-law Margo (Sy) Green, their children, Cary (Sue) Green and Caryn (Doug) Neway; her late brother-in-law Harry (Halia) Dmytryshyn; as well as many relatives in Ukraine, United States and Canada. Anisia was born on April 22, 1942 in Chodoriv, Ukraine at the period of the Second World War. She fled with her parents to Germany and were there until they came to Canada in 1950. Anisia, with her parents, dealt with many hardships during the Second World War, which they endured. They arrived in Halifax by ship, and then came to Winnipeg. Her father Myron was a successful businessman who owned and led Victoria Meat Market with his wife Maria (nee Kindziar). They thrived and prospered as entrepreneurs and contributed to the community as well as many Ukrainian organizations. Anisia met Mykola, her soulmate, in 1968, they were engaged on Valentine's Day, February 14. They were inseparable and had a beautiful committed union. Together they raised three children, Taras (Melody), Lida and Ivanka (Alexander). Anisia always carried herself with elegance, humility and grace. She was a lady, kind, a friend to all, and always gave a compliment or offered words of encouragement. Anisia was refined and noble in all situations. Her beauty was seen through her eyes, because that was the path that lead to her beautiful heart. Anisia was a great cook who loved to make unforgettable Christmas "Sviat Vechir" and "Rizdvo". Also, Easter, birthdays, any excuse to have a party or get-together. Anisia lived a life of happiness. She took pride in having a happy, beautiful home, and upheld all Ukrainian traditions. She loved her daily coffee in different restaurants with Mykola. They loved dining out. Together they attended concerts at Centennial Hall and the Playhouse. Anisia loved fashion, jewellery and classic Hollywood movies and the Lawrence Welk show. Anisia had a talent of playing the piano by ear. She had a beautiful voice and could harmonize and loved many genres of music. She also loved to dance and draw. Anisia loved to travel to Ukraine, Europe, United States and Canada. Anisia was an artist and loved to capture a moment in time with her camera. She gifted us with a lifetime of happy memories with her photographs. She also took pride in gardening and grew beautiful flowers every year. Anisia was an active member and belonged to the following organizations: Plast-Pereletni Ptytsi, where she first learned to love nature, camping, bonfires and creating friendships; Oseredok, and the Ukrainian Women's Catholic League of St. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral. Anisia also supported many charitable causes. Anisia's legacy will forever be the way she lived her life, by the role model she was. She gave unconditional love, joy and laughter. Anisia was a teacher of strong values, morals and integrity. Anisia was spiritual and loved attending Sunday church masses and then gathering with parishioners for coffee in the church hall. Also, attending teas and fashion shows. Anisia recited prayers daily and had strong faith and unwavering hope. She believed in the goodness of people and of humanity. Her true beauty was reflected in her beautiful soul. We were blessed that she told us daily how much she loved us and we told her how much we loved her. We will continue to be blessed by having her guide us with love from Heaven. Anisia is the reason why our hearts and souls are always full. Due to government guidelines a private Pochoron, Panachyda were held on February 22, 2021 at St. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral with o. Mitrat Michael Buyachok officiating. This is not goodbye, but rather a farewell, until we will all be reunited in Heaven. You will live in our hearts forever. The love we give will never end.
