In Loving Memory

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Leslie Sephton. Wayne entered Langley Memorial Hospital on February 11 and passed away in the evening of April 6.
Wayne was born on December 24, 1948 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He grew up on the same North End avenue (Pritchard) as his one true love and lifelong partner, Fern Jean (nee Bjarnason), with whom he would have celebrated 55 years of marriage on November 4. A graduate of Sisler High School, Wayne became a well-respected skilled tradesperson and moved his family to the West Coast in 1975, eventually settling in Langley City in 1994. Wayne enjoyed sports, especially those which his sons and grandchildren were interested in and played, travelling with family, and singing, particularly in Langley's First Capital Chorus. Life was uncomplicated for Wayne. Put in an honest day's work for an honest day's pay, treat everyone fairly and compassionately regardless of who they were, always do the right thing, and take care of family. There was nothing and no one that he loved more than his wife and family.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Len and Dorothy Sephton (nee Breckon). He is survived by his wife Fern, sons, Shaun (Ikuko), and grandsons, Kai and Toma; son Troy (Lisa), granddaughter Telsa (Ryan), great-grandsons, Grayson and Lennox; and granddaughter Tianna; and brothers, Bryan (Monica) and Lyle, and sister Deborah.
