About ERIC DENNIS LEN SANCHEZ
February 9, 1984 - April 5, 2021

With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved friend, brother, uncle, nephew, and son Eric. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home, Heritage Lodge. Eric suffered from the devastating effects of Type 1 diabetes.
Eric is survived by his family: parents, Lupe and Pedro Sanchez; Pedro (Marcy), Jacob, Maxx (Krista), Tia Maggie (Jarri), Isaiah, Izzy, Julian, Epiphany, Vladimir, Apollo (Debbie), Mindy, Colleen, Sean, Amber, Alea, Brandy and Padrinos Marco and Joanne Aguirre.
Eric loved living life. He was a survivor and he proved that every single day. Eric had a style and flair all his own and a personality to match. From coloured hair, earrings, bracelets, and nail polish, he would always surprise us with something new. Eric was very resourceful. His friendly and charismatic nature made him friends everywhere he went. He never forgot a birthday and loved celebrations. He cared deeply about the lives of his loved ones.
Eric grew up in Tyndall Park and attended Stanley Knowles, Meadows West, and Sisler High School. He took great pride in being a Mexican Canadian and embraced all aspects of his Mexican heritage. He believed in the Catholic faith and attended Mass at St. Ignatius Church whenever possible.
We wish to thank the staff at CBI, Heritage Lodge and St. Boniface Hospital for their continued care and support over the years.
In keeping with Eric's wishes, no funeral service will be held. His remains will be interred in Mexico with his Grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Diabetes Society.
