Later she began working at Loblaw's where she met her husband Ken. Patricia and Ken married on May 5, 1962 in Winnipeg. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother and nana. Her family was her life and nothing made her happier than spending time together. She loved going on family holidays, planning celebrations and always gave of herself willingly. In between this she worked part-time for 7 years at Hallmark (Unicity). She loved this job and the people she worked with. One of her most treasured gifts in her life was her granddaughter Alexandra whom she called Angel Girl . Nana loved to spend time with her and often said that she wanted Alexandra to remember her one day as a fun Nana. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the doctors and nurses in the ER and ICU at the Grace General Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion, as well as to Dr. Albak and Dr. Czarnecki for their long term care and dedication. Always remembered, always cherished, each memory a part of us, a part of you. Never to be lost. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
