About	ROBERT LEE THOMAS MCDONALD (ROBBIE) 1968 - 2007 It is with great sadness we announce, after a valiant battle with ALS, the passing of our beloved son, Robert (Robbie) Lee Thomas McDonald on August 6, 2007. Robbie is survived by his parents, Carol and Robert McDonald, beloved friend Mary Santos and many relatives and friends. Robbie was born April 1, 1968. Robbie attended Sisler High School, graduated with advance Bachelor of Arts at the University of Manitoba, May of 1996. Robbie also attended the University of Toronto, University of Saskatoon and the University of British Columbia. He was called to the bar, June 15, 2000 upon his completion of Law. Robbie was diagnosed with ALS shortly after preparing to become a member of the BC Bar. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and were inspired by his strength, courage and his always amazing smile. On Robbie's behalf, the family would like to thank Robbie's coordinators, caregivers, nurses, doctors, the ALS Society, Team Deer Lodge, Rehab Engineering Staff, all of the supporters of the golf tournament and the walk for ALS, and the many friends who assisted while he stayed in his own home. Memorial mass will take place on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Edward's Church, located at 818 Arlington Street.
