About	EUGENE DURAND August 24, 1942 - March 21, 2014 Our family, Margaret, wife of 48 years and daughters, Shandelle and Mandy, regretfully announces the passing of our beloved husband and father, Eugene Durand. Gene passed away in his truck coming home from not feeling well from Sisler High School, where he taught for 30 years. My father leaves behind a wife, and two very broken hearted daughters, two sisters, and a brother, and two step-sisters. He left home and found various employment opportunities throughout his life. Then in 1963, he did not know at that time, met his soul mate (48 years), his wife Margaret Evans. They were married in 1966, and were married until Gene passed away in 2014. Dad's real love came in the form of employment at Sisler High School (30 years teaching auto mechanics). He made many friendships with staff and students while teaching there. Our family like to send a thank you out to every one who tried to save him. Dad - there is not a day we don't think about you. We miss you. Je te aime papa.
