About	RICKY CONRAD KNOTT Ricky Conrad Knott passed away November 18, 2014 at the age of 61. He was born August 19, 1953 in Pine Falls, MB eldest son of Conrad and Emily Knott. The family moved to Victoria, BC, and then returned to Winnipeg in 1958. Rick grew up in the north end of Winnipeg and attended Sisler High School. He furthered his education in Toronto and then returned to Winnipeg once again. He then moved to British Columbia to take advantage of the warmer climate and remained in Nanaimo until his passing. Ricky was predeceased by his father Conrad, and his nephew Evan Carmichael. Rick is survived by his twin daughters Krysta Knott (Nelson) and Rhea Groeber (Kourt), and stepson Rhiel. He is also survived by his mother Emily, sisters Micheala and Deborah (John), brothers Derrick and Jeffrey (Liana), nieces Brandy and Amber, and nephews Dylan, Tyler, Treytan and Owen. Ricky was fondly referred to as super dad by his daughters. He was an incredible cook, who loved music and playing the guitar. Rick will be remembered as a strong spirited and loving man by all who knew him. His family and friends would like to thank the palliative care staff at Nanaimo Regional Hospital, and John, his neighbour and good friend.
