About	LINDA ROSE MARIE BARABASH (nee BURDENY) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of an outstanding wife and mother Linda who at the age of 58, died at her home after a well fought battle with cancer. Remaining to forever treasure Linda's memory are her husband of 37 years Andy, her daughter Lindsey (Bryan) Melnyk, son Drew and her four legged friends which were a big part of her family, Sasha, Mercadies, Phoenix, MJ, Buddy, and Holly. Linda is also survived by her father Walter. She was predeceased by her mother Elsie in 2002. Raised in the North End, Linda attended Sisler High School and Red River Community College where she received her Medical Laboratory Technology Degree. She then went on and worked for the Winnipeg School Division No. 1 from 1974 to 2006 as a Lab Tech in the Science Department. The family would like to thank Dr. Brandes, Dr. Fatoye, Nurse Tammy-Lee, the Home Care Workers, family and friends who visited and called her during her difficult times. Our deepest gratitude goes to Terri Babynchuk, Linda's closest friend, for her unconditional care and support. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Linda's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.
