Raizel Guinto
Class of 2018
After being named Conference USA's Co-6th player of the year in 2020, you better believe Raizel Guinto was ready to be a full time starter in 2021. A senior out of Sisler High School , Guinto started every game for the Lady Louisiana Techsters and led them to a winning season of 14-10. The sharpshooting guard made 89% of her free throws and averaged 9.9 points per game to go along with 3 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
The Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders captured the Conference USA regular and post season titles, but Guinto was a thorn in their side. Last week, in the second round of the conference tournament, Guinto drilled five three-pointers and scored a career high 22 points in a 77-71 loss to the Blue Raiders.
Guinto can walk away knowing she capped off her college career with an incredible showing.
