Sisler Spartans Football Team 1963 City Champs

Class of 1963

Spartans were led by the Marquardson brothers to Sisler's first football championship.

Cliff Marquardson was the Quarterback and brother Larry Marquardson was a Linebacker and OLM.

In 1962 Cliff Marquardson was playing for Tec Voc but returned to Sisler in 1963.

The 1963 team add many stars that also returned for 1964 season. Cliff Marquardson QB, Helmut Klein FB, Robert Jaskiewicz FB, Ted Keating E , Allan Woods E, Dave Burgess HB, Larry Ulicki HB, Bill Mosienko Jr. OLM, Larry Marquardson OLM, Dan Lameroux OLM, Bob Bo Keating OT and Jim Gait OT on offense. With Head Coach Frank Bryan and assistant coaches Bill Drozda and Jack Cameron
