Army, 12 Years
4 years NG while in college doing SMP with ROTC. Airborne school summer 99. commisioned En branch 15 Dec 2000.
3 years active duty 3rd ID. 22 months Platoon Leader for 2 PLT A Co 10th EN BN. Part of OIF invasion 20 March 2003, OBJ Moe 7Apr03 part of Thunder Run II. (as explained in "On Point")
3 years IRR while working on masters.
6 months TPU in Army reserves then MOB to Ft Bliss TX for 10 months.
picked up for AGR reserves Dec 2007 to Ft Snelling MN to present.

Army, 10 Years
Enlisted as a truck driver in the AZ Guard, went to Warrant Officer Basic Course (WOBC) then flight school after college. Four years enlisted in the Guard followed by two years as a Warrant before ten years of Active Duty. AH-64 pilot in 3ID, 1 tour in Bagdad, 10th MTN, 1 Tour in Mosul, and 1 CAV, 1 tour in Kandahar. Left the army in 2012 to become a financial advisor.
