| About Me | I graduated from Utica Junior College in May 1971 and from Rust College in August 1974. I also 15 hours at University of Southern Mississippi toward a graduate degree in Accounting. While at Rust College, I joined the Co-operative Education Program. I worked at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi while on that program until I graudated. When I graduated I was hired permanently by Keesler AFB as a Training Instructor in Military Administration. I worked at Keesler for 10 years in the Technical School as an Instructor. I moved from the position of Instructor to a Personnel Compensation Specialist in Human Resources at Keesler. I remained there until married in July 1982. I transferred to the Internal Revenue Service in Oklahoma City OK> I held such positions as Tax Examining Assistant, Personnel Management Specialist, Personnel Staffing Specialist, Position Classification Specialist, Position Classification Specialist, and finally Financial Program Consultant (Budget Analyst). I retired in May 2007. I also joined the Air Force Reserve in December 1980 where I moved up the ranks to a Master Sergeant. I served 28 years and retired February 2008 as a Master Sergeant. My husband is June Carter. We have three children, Charity Sue Carter (Marshall)--Husband Derrick; Jyntel Carter; and June Carter IV. They are all over the age of 18. My son is attending Murray State College in Tishomingo OK on a full Basketball Scholarship. Daughters are currently finishing up their degree after goofing off for a while.
