Joan Mottola Hughes

I am sorry to report the passing of Joan Mottola Hughes, class of 1970 on October 14th. Joan was the wife of Dr Jonathan Hughes, the big sister of Judy Mottola Mason, Janet Mottola and the late Joe Mottola. A former resident of Pembroke, Joan went to Gordon College. She went on to become a school teacher. At the time of her death she was a labor negotiator for the Connecticut Teachers Association.
