Host an Exchange Student!

Hello Sierra Alumni!

I work with foreign exchange students and we are looking for host families in the Sierra HS area. As a host family, you provide a bed and a quiet place to study, transportation to school, and three meals a day. The student comes with their own medical insurance, spending money and a desire to live the life of an American teenager.

Wissanukorn, from Thailand, “Pro” has one younger brother, and he enjoys playing basketball and guitar. He enjoys science class at school, and in the future he would like to be an engineer. He also belongs to the basketball club, and at home he plays this every day. He describes himself as responsible, confident, and a fast-learner. “Pro” would like to learn about American culture and to make new friends.

Dongin, from South Korea, has one younger brother, and some of his hobbies include Computer science, pop music, football, watching movies, and riding a bike. He additionally mentions that he is interested in anything and everything. His favorite subject in school is Computer Science, and he belongs to the movie club, badminton club, and school media club at school. Dongin describes himself as good at adapting to new environments, good at planning, and a very active person. He looks forward to learning about U.S. history and meeting your family.

Sierra HS loves to have our Exchange Students because they open the eyes of American students to the world.
