About Me	I'm a 45 year old, married, father of two and an entrepreneur. I served 9 and 1/2 years in the U.S Army and doing so gave me the leadership skills to go out and start my own business. That business initially began as a small beauty salon in Ft. Cambell Kentucky, but has grown into a strip mall in Montgomery, Alabama. We've been up and running for the past 15 years. I'm also deeply rooted in the political arena here in Montgomery, Alabama. I'm a dedicated community activist and servant. I try my best to stand up for my people and be the voice of those unable to speak for themselves. I've ran for every office from city council to state representative, but Montgomery is a rather stubborn when it comes to change. Nevertheless, I will continue to stay out here on the battlefield fighting for my people and giving back to the community. One of the main ways I give back to the community is the annual Lacey-Boyd New Years Day Parade. This event started 6 years ago and is getting bigger and better each year. The parade goes down the heart and soul of west Montgomery (West Fairview Ave) every year on New Years Day.
