Steve died June 4, 1998 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He had graduated from boot camp with the Iowa National Guard in the summer of 1997. He was very proud to be a solider and to be the first in his family to graduate from high school. Steve always took up for the little guy and lived in the moment. He is dearly missed and will always be remembered as a great guy. Love you "Louie."
