joseph paduano
Class of 1970
Author of 4 books on photography. Joseph is the foremost expert on infrared photography. His books include The Art of Infrared Photography, Seascapes, Infrared Nude Photography, and Wide-angle Lens Photography. His book The Art of Infrared Photography has been in print since 1984. His photographs are in the collection of the Monmouth County Park Sysytem, the Port Authority of N.Y., N.J., Johnson and Johnson, and Educational Testing Services. His photographs have been published as a cover for a John Saul novel, a Kathryn Davis novel, as well as an insert for a Tori Amos DVD collection. His work has been exhibited in the Soho Photo Gallery, N.Y., State House, Trenton, Senate Office Building, Washington, Garden State Arts Center, Montclair State University, Meadowlands Environment cenetr, State House Rotunda, Trenton, and the Printmaking Council of N.J. His photographs have been published in numerous books and magazines, including Under a Gull's Wing, Shore Stories, Modern Photography, Shoreline Magazine, New Jersey Monthly, Darkroom Photography, Digitalis Fhoto (Hungary), Practical Photography, and the Business Journal of N.J. His photos have also been used for a Forte Photo Paper ad, and and NBC T.V. ad campaign. He has been teaching workshops on infrared photography for the past 20 years and continues to be an invited guest speaker for many photography clubs and organizations.
