Hey Warriorettes and Warriors,

So we are getting closer to the big 45th !! We are excited. Fate works in amazing ways. How did we all come to go to Sherwood when we did and make friends as we did? We know that the main attraction for our reunions is seeing, chatting, meeting, and sharing with each other. So we will let that roll except for a little ceremony at 5 pm during the reunion. It will be short but will give us all a chance to reflect and laugh together. But don't forget, our reunion is scheduled from 2 pm - 8 pm.

We hope you all are hooking up with other classmates to either come together or meet there. There are still some classmates who we have not reached. Please contact any classmate that you can to make sure they know what we are planning. We are hearing that quite a few out-of-town classmates are coming and Eddie Peterson is coordinating with the Holiday Inn on Sweitzer Lane about 2 miles from Seibels. Just send him an email at ed4227@att.net and he can provide the details. We will provide transportation to and from the hotel if anyone needs this service. Even some classmates that are not out-of-town are reserving a room there too.

So let this be the reunion where the most classmates were contacted and the reunion where most attended. Neat things happen at our reunions like brand new friendships, old ones rekindled, and lots of laughs and smiles. Looking forward to sharing with you all.

The class of 1969 experienced history on a regular basis: The Summer of Love, the Tet Offensive, Nixon's rise to power, The Beatles' creative peak... very few spans of time can claim to have shaped American culture as much as the late 60's, and you & your Sherwood High School classmates experienced it together.

Now as you and your fellow Warriors prepare to enjoy retirement it's the perfect time to reunite and share where life has brought you in the last five decades. Your reunion is scheduled and AlumniClass is your spot for arranging travel plans, ordering custom Warriors merchandise to show off your school spirit, and connect with classmates ahead of time.
