Events	Obituary Ken Ashcroft, 83, died in Campbell River British Columbia on 4 July 2024. Emigrating from England to Canada in 1970, the Ashcroft family settled in Hamilton for 30 years. Ken taught at Sherwood Secondary School and at the Young Offenders school in Barton Street. He retired with his wife Norma to Vancouver Island in 2000. Ken was very proud of his family and he is survived by his loving wife Norma, daughter Susan (Richard), sons Michael (Christina) and David (Debbie), and brother Gordon (June). He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Alexandra, Lara, Madison and Julia, and his nieces and nephews, Natalie, Nicola, Matthew, Simon, James and Rebecca. Published online July 20, 2024
