| About Me | Following graudation I attended the University of Charleston. I met my wife, Jean Ann, in college. We lived in Charleston for two years after graduating from college and moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1981. We have two sons, Matt, who graduated from Virginia Tech in 2006; and Kevin, who is a senior at James Madison Univeristy. My professional career was in the insurance industry, and I got involved in politics in 1991. I served in local government for four years before being elected to the State Senate in 1995.
