Lonnie was 63. He was a U.S. Army vereran. Lonnie moved to Chardon, Ohio in 1966; married his wife Jan Saunders (the love of his life) in 1968. Her retired from CEI in 1993 after 28 year as a Maintenance Mechanic "A". He went on to work for Gingerich General Contracting until 2005.
While in Chardon her served as Asst Scout Master for Troop 93. He loved antique refinishing and woodwork. His greatest joy was spending time with family.
He is survived by wife, Jan; sons, Doug (Karen), Darin (Beth), grandchildren, Katilyn, & Mitchell; sisters, Wanda Nelson & Loretta Null; brother, Richard (Linda).
