About Me	In pursuit of a music career I got involved with a cult at 17. Most of the next 23 years were spent with the cult in southern California, although my position in the cult's management allowed me to travel a lot, both domestically and internationally. The experience was brutal but I certainly gained an education. I escaped in 2002 and moved back to the valley. Spent a year traveling the country as a photographer then settled in Beaverton for 10 years and then Portland for three, while I ran my own graphics & printing company. By 2016 I was done with the rat-race of Portland. I followed my heart, moved to the beach (my happy place) and began working in hospitality. I still keep a hand in the creative world by doing proofreading/editing on the side and I'm also writing my own memoir about my experience in a cult.
